A chance to review what we know about ADHD!
Internationally, ADHD is celebrated each October with a whole ADHD Awareness Month. ADHD Awareness Month is an international movement to educate the public and create greater awareness and understanding about attention deficit disorder.
The main goal is to help disseminate the facts about this condition, and to dispel myths that keep people affected by ADHD from seeking appropriate treatment.
In Australia, ADDults with ADHD has organised the Adult ADHD Annual Conference on 11 October 2014 in Sydney.
On October 28 LADS WA has organised an awareness event called "Many Faces of ADHD".
Essential facts about ADHD and its treatment can be found in our free downloadable information sheets.
Or you can contact one of the Australian ADHD support groups.
