Does falling asleep within a short period of time and waking up easily, feeling refreshed and ready to face the day seem like a dream?
Susanne Mechtersheimer is a psychologist with a special interest in sleep and its connection with ADHD. Hear her speak about:
- different stages of sleep,
- EEG activity related to the different stages of sleep,
- parameters and tools to assess/monitor the quality of sleep,
- different sleep disorders, and
- interventions and treatment options
Susanne is an experienced Psychologist and a full member of the Australian Psychological Society. She has worked at Caroline Stevenson & Associates for over two years and prior to that worked with Dr. Minna Chau in Hong Kong, delivering therapy and group programs for children with ADHD.
She has a specific interest in sleep and is offering Neurofeedback to complement Cognitive Behavioural Therapy to improve quality of sleep and other symptoms associated with ADHD.
